Cannes Lions 2021 Winners

Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, which was canceled last year due to the pandemic, met with participants online this year. According to the data announced by Cannes Lions, although awards were presented for both 2020 and 2021 this year, the total number of applications fell behind 2019, when the event was physically held.


On the other hand, after a year in which the whole world focused on digital, the categories with an increase in applications among creative works are digital. There was a 15 percent increase in Titanium Lions applications, a 14 percent increase in Social & Influencer Lions, and a 12 percent increase in Creative eCommerce Lions. The category with the highest increase in applications is the Film category with 2 thousand 726 applications.
